DESCRIPTION
This beautiful real estate located on the west coast of Ibiza was renovated in 2012, starting from a 70s style house.
The project was inspired by the typical rural structure of the island (“finca”), which consists of white lime volumes and local stone, with portico made of savine beams.
On one side we find a typical Mediterranean garden, on the other the best element of the whole area: the sea, which can be admired from every corner of the house, starting from the swimming pool, the terraces, the relax zone and the numerous windows.
The sea is the crucial element of the house and everything is made in its function.
The facades on the garden side show few gaps and neat volumes, with white lime and local stone; the facades on the south-west side are completely open to the sea view and the beautiful ligh on the island.
White is the dominant color for the facades, the floors, the swimming pool and the terraces. This color is perfect for catching the light in every season of the year.
A modern illumination system for the exterior completes the project.
The interior is a perfect mix between typical Mediterranean elements and contemporary details, with also ethnic particulars from Bali and Marocco. The prevalent materials are stones, old woods, cobblestones and micro cement.
Every room has a private patio with open air relax area, perfect for the hottest days of the summer.
